Then, the pandemic came along, I didn't get a chance to have that one more year. And so, we picked it upwardly (this twelvemonth). But my wife and I are very healthy right now, which is great. I'd rather get out the job when I'm healthy."
Aside from a couple of preseason scrimmages in Oct, Calhoun hasn't been on the sidelines as head omnibus since March, 2020. USJ canceled its 2020-21 flavour, though it did play a few informal games, and is off to a 3-0 beginning this season. Miller has coached all of those games since last year, though Calhoun has been at almost every practice.

Calhoun has battled numerous wellness issues over the years. In June, he was hospitalized after a blockage in his bile duct prevented him from breaking his nutrient down properly, causing a high fever and other issues. He was mainlined antibiotics for about 72 hours and had a stent inserted to re-open up the duct. Calhoun was hospitalized for about a calendar week.
More recently, he said he had some "claret problems" taken intendance of at Yale-New Haven Infirmary. He intended to coach the USJ's flavour-opener confronting Maine-Augusta on November. half-dozen, only a pocket-size health upshot prevented him from doing that, as well.
Calhoun insists his wellness is fine now.

USJ is currently ranked No. 9 in the country.
